Stop Your PC From Being Zombie!
When your PCs slow down, there are lots of explanation that might cause the problems. It could be your hard drive in your PC has too many files and not organized well. However, there are also another factors that might cause your PC to slow down. It might already turned into zombies that is it is now are stealthily doing multi-tasking jobs which commanded by its “new master”. This command may also include sending thousands of spam emails or copying each keystroke that you entered into your PC (including your banking and financial information).
Recently this zombie computer may be engaged into trying to destroy important internet infrastructure in some countries. For example, zombie computers have brought down some US and South Korean government websites in July of this year. Another case was involving Australian power company Integral Energy where the control computers were highly infected with the W32.Virut.CF virus. Malware such as W32.Virut.CF virus can take over a computer which eventually turn it into a “robot”. When many computers were affected by this malware, they can be linked together and now they are called “botnets” which is powerful enough to create havoc in the targeted subjects such as governments and military.
The only solution to overcome this problem is to have your PC equipped with firewall and antivirus as well as to keep them updated regularly. This would prevent your PC from admitting a piece of software called Trojan. This software is responsible in installing the malware and and take control over your PC!.
