Have you ever wondered how you can recharge your cellphone or any portable gadgets when you’re out of any power outlets? One of the Swedish company has settled this hassle by introducing a small portable fuel cell that enabling people especially in developing countries to charge their mobile phone. The gadget was displayed at Mobile World Congress this year as one of the new innovation gadgets.

The gadget which known as myFC is a small power source using hydrogen fuel cell which can still work properly under extreme environmental conditions. The gadget is protected by tough plastic housing which proved to be durable and interestingly, it has no moving parts at all!

But then, how does it work? Inside of the housing, the fuel cell will silently converts hydrogen into electricity through its ‘Proton exchange membrane’. The gadget only produce environmentally friendly waste product which is water vapor. In order for the gadget to operate, hydrogen is drawn from a small packet of energised aluminium powder, water added voila and power will come out.

myFC comes with three different shape which is for outdoor use and the other one could be attached to the back of a laptop screen. I believes this gadget will be very beneficial to those who always travel to countryside or remote area.
